END OF AN ERA
Chris Haselhurst started Edison Lightweight Cycles in Clowne with his dad Edi, hence Edi and Son. They started shortly after the demise of Carlton Cycles in Worksop, they both worked there and had a depth of knowledge that would serve them well.

MICHAEL BONNEY FUND RAISER
Geoff McComb from Chain Reaction Cycles asked for a bit of help for the Ride for Michael fund one day on the phone, he was planning a ride to raise money for some alterations for Michael's home and he wanted some clothing printing. The answer was a resounding yes and we talked at length at how and what could be done to help the cause.

DOWNIEVILLE CLASSIC 2013
Downieville is a small town on route 49 in Northern California, gold rush country and holds a very interesting race, one that I have wanted to do for some time now. It's a stage race which is held over two days, Saturday is Cross Country day and Sunday is downhill day, the the rules say it must be on the same bike and with the same setup and weight.

FORT WILLIAM DOWNHILL WORLD CUP INTRO
If there are any Mountain Bikers out there who have not experienced the atmosphere of the Fort William Downhill World Cup you really do not know what you are missing. It is happening this weekend from Friday until Sunday and some of the biggest names in MTB are going to be in attendance.
Santa Cruz have their complete new bike range on show for all to see and the DH team expect to do well.
It really needs to be on any self respecting Mountain Bikers bucket list and there hasn't been a better time to do it, here's a short video of what it's about FUN AT THE FORT. See you there!
